JJ4Tech is the U.S. arm of a 24-year payments engineering legacy — bringing proven instant payments infrastructure from Brazil's PIX network to the FedNow market.
Our Roots
JJ4Tech was founded in 2022 as the U.S.-facing company of the same engineering team that built and operates JD Consultores — the leading instant payments provider in Brazil's PIX ecosystem.
The technology powering JJ4Tech's products has already processed over 1.1 billion transactions per month through JD's production environment, serving 475+ enterprise clients including Brazil's largest banks and the Brazilian Central Bank itself. With FedNow, we're bringing that same battle-tested infrastructure to U.S. financial institutions — refined over two decades of mission-critical payment operations.
Leadership
Founder of JJ4Tech & Co-Founder of JD Consultores
An entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in software development, João founded JJ4Tech to bring proven instant payments technology — extensively tested across Brazil's PIX ecosystem — to the U.S. market.
After obtaining a Master's in Computer Science from PUC-Rio and lecturing for 14 years as a guest professor at leading Brazilian universities, João began his corporate career as a technology consultant. Between 1996 and 2001, he developed strategic systems for institutions including Citibank, IBM, Bradesco, the Central Bank of Brazil, FEBRABAN, the Brazilian Marine Force, and Petrobras.
In 2001, he co-founded JD Consultores with Fernanda Jardim — the company that would become the leading instant payment provider in Brazil. The success of JD Consultores led directly to the creation of JJ4Tech in 2022.

An entrepreneur with over 20 years in the financial industry and a specialist in database systems, semi-structured data, and XML, Fernanda joined the JJ4Tech journey to bring her decades of problem-solving, customer support, and implementation experience to the American market.
Best-in-class technology is just one of JJ4Tech's differentials — Fernanda ensures our clients always have the best support behind it.
Fernanda has previously consulted for major institutions including Citibank, the Central Bank of Brazil, the Interbank Payments' Chamber (CIP), FEBRABAN, Petrobras, ALBRAS (Alumínio Brasileiro), and Lotus do Brasil. In 2001, she co-founded JD Consultores with João Jardim — now the leading instant payment provider in Brazil. JJ4Tech was born from that same legacy in 2022.
